Spud Milton’s awkward stroll through his adolescence reveals one of the most valuable lessons in life: It is never easy to deal with women or cretins. Spud, sixteen years old, writes confidently that he is practically a man in all areas. It is 1992 in South Africa and radical changes are in the air. Although the country is on a bumpy path to uncertain times, Spud Milton hopes for smooth sailing as he goes back to his senior year at boarding school.
