Michael Newman (Sandler), a hardworking family man who needs to please his boss Hasselhoff in order for him to be promoted. He is unhappy with the fact that he has less time to spend with his family and longs for control over his own life. Newman soon realizes this when he meets Morty Walker (Walken), an insane sales clerk who is equipped with the ultimate remote. He has a remote that allows him to do everything, even mute, skip, and sub-titling his entire life. This is the chance to not only get around every argument but to also jump to his promotion. This is a great idea until something goes horribly wrong with the remote. –Film_Fan
