Sirens
Anthony, a young reverend, and Estella, his wife, are traveling from England to Australia in order to minister to their flock. He is asked by the bishop to go to Norman, an eccentric artist who has a tendency to make sexual depictions. The bishop also requests that he remove “Crucified Venus”, a controversial piece from his show. He considers himself to be a progressive and is surprised at the moral atmosphere around the minister, Norman, his wife and three of his models. His wife, who is also troubled by latent sexual impulses, must deal with them while still being loyal to him. Ed Sutton
