Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Steve Rogers’ awakening from decades of suspension animation requires more than just catching up with pop culture. It also means this idealist of the old school must confront a new world full of subtle threats and moral dilemmas. This is made clear by Director Nick Fury’s death by the Winter Soldier. However, Rogers was warned that SHIELD had been subverted and it has become a political battleground. The organization labels Rogers a traitor after he follows Fury’s advice to not trust anyone there. With the assistance of The Black Widow, and The Falcon, Captain America is now a fleeing suspect. The battle against the Sentinel of Liberty will prove costly. Rogers finds enemies in places he doesn’t expect them to find him, while the Winter Soldier appears suspiciously familiar. –Kenneth Chisholm ([email protected])
