Wild Tales
Six segments are made up the film. (1) “Pasternak: A model and music critic discover they are friends through Pasternak while on board a plane. They soon discover Pasternak is known by every crew member and passenger. This is a coincidence. (2) “The Rats:” A waitress recognises her client. It’s the loan shark that caused her family tragedy. But the waitress resists and suggests that he mix rat poison into his meals. But the stubborn cook decides to go ahead with her plan. Three (3) “The Strongest: A dispute ensues between two drivers who are on the same highway. It has tragic results. (4) “Little Bomb”, a car being tow by a truck because it was parked in an unsafe place. A dispute ensues between a demolition engineer and the worker of the towing company. He is devastated by the incident and plans to revenge the corrupt city hall and towing company. The Proposal: The Proposal is a story about a reckless child of wealthy parents who has an overnight hit-and-run accident in which a pregnant lady gets killed. His father rings the lawyer and he wakes up his parents. They offer to cover the cost of the groundkeeper. The father soon discovers that his lawyer has extorted him and the prosecutor who is in charge of the investigation. Which will be his final decision? (6) “Until Death Do Us Apart”: The bride learns from her husband that he has been cheating with one of her wedding guests and decides to repay him. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
