Where the Wild Things Are
Max, a young boy with an active imagination and who will have fits when others disagree with him. After an altercation with Claire, Max’s sister and her friends and a tantrum he throws because his Mother is paying too much attention to his boyfriend, Max runs from home. Max, wearing his wolf costume, runs off to a fantasy world. The world is an ocean far away and is home to large wild animals, one of which is Carol, who has a temperament similar to Max’s. The wild animals don’t eat Max as they would with other creatures his kind, but instead make friends with Max and declare themselves kings who can solve their every problem. –Huggo
