War Dogs
David Packouz, a Miami-based massage therapist, lives with Iz in Miami. David is looking for an extra source of income and decides to spend his entire life savings on Egyptian cotton sheets. He plans to sell the sheets to Miami retirement communities. David meets his best friend from high school, Efraim Diveroli. Efraim had lived in Los Angeles for many years before he started working with his uncle to sell guns. Efraim, who has since left his uncle, formed AEY to fulfill orders for weapons from the US government in response to the current war in Iraq. David’s life is changed when his girlfriend tells him she is pregnant. Efraim gives David a job at AEY. Despite David’s vehement opposition to war, David finally agrees. He tells his girlfriend that he started selling cotton sheets through Efraim’s contacts to the US government.
