Wanderlust
Linda Gergenblatt, a New York-based aspirant filmmaker, convinces George Gergenblatt that he should buy a Micro Loft apartment. Linda hopes to promote a penguin documentary to HBO in order to pay the installments. George also expects a promotion. George is dismissed after HBO rejected the documentary. Due to the American financial crisis George loses a lot of money selling their apartment. George cannot find a job. George’s brother Rick suggests a position at his Atlanta company. The two of them drive from New York City to Atlanta, and decide to spend the night at the Elysium hotel. George sees a naked male running towards their vehicle and tries to get back on the road, but George accidentally flips his car. They soon discover that the Elysium was a vegan and hippie community. The dwellers offer to host George and Linda. They decide to travel to Atlanta, but George soon has an argument about his brother’s arrogance. George and Linda return to Elysium for a 2-week trial. Linda is feeling well after a few days, but George struggles to adjust to Elysium’s rules. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
