The Way Way Back
Duncan (Liam James), isn’t a very popular child and the summer doesn’t seem to be going well for him. Duncan’s mother invited him and his boyfriend to her beach house. There, he will improve his physical appearance and personality as well as meet new girls. His would-be step-sister isn’t keen to have anything to do. He also has a shy disposition that makes it hard for him to make new friends. Duncan meets adults who just want to have fun at the Water Wizz. Owen (Sam Rockwell), allows Duncan to work alongside him. Their new bond will allow them both to mature and find their own place in the world. Duncan is able to stand up for his stepfather and have a chat with the girl next door, as well as being more at ease with himself. –napierslogs
