A big fat lie has defined the life of Truman Burbank, an ambitious explorer and insurance agent, since his birth. Truman has been living in total ignorance of all the hidden cameras that have watched his movements for almost three decades. Christof, the manipulative TV producer and supreme TV-God, is the only person who can control Truman’s life. He produces The Truman Show, a 24/7 extreme reality TV show. Truman’s idyllic neighborhood with its manicured lawns, perfect residents, is nothing more than a state-of the-art complex.
