The Father

Anthony, an elderly, Londoner, who is slowly falling to dementia and has just been scared by his caregiver, feels helpless when Anne, Anne’s daughter tells him that she is moving to Paris. Anthony, a confused and distraught man, is losing his grasp on reality and struggling to understand the blurred landscapes of past and present. As fading memories and glimpses into lucidity cause sudden mood swings and confusion, Anthony and his loved ones are beginning to lose their grasp on reality. Time and the environment around him have become blurred. Is it because his daughter is now too old to visit? Anthony was visited by strangers. –Nick Riganas
