SPL II: A Time for Consequences
Hong Kong officer Kit (Wu Jing), goes undercover to capture Mr. Hung, the mastermind behind a criminal syndicate. Kit vanishes with no trace after the operation turns sour and undercover officers are ensnared. Uncle Wah (Simon Yam), a Thai police officer, defies his commander and follows Kit to Thailand. Thai police officer Chai (Tony Jaa), becomes a prison guard to help his daughter with leukemia. Kit is his watchdog. Although Chai and Kit live in opposite positions, and don’t know each other’s languages well, Kit is a good bone marrow donor and can save Chai’s daughter. Chai wants Kit to live, but the warden Ko Zhang Jin (Zhang Jin) would rather he die to make sure the prison is running smoothly. This is where Mr Hung operates his organ-trafficking operation. To save his life, Mr Hung arrives in Thailand to use the heart of his younger brother (Jun Kung). It’s time for the showdown…
