New Year’s Eve
This movie is set during New Years Eve in New York City. It follows several characters and their reactions to the event. Kim, a single mom, still sees Hailey as her child and wants to take him out so she can kiss him every night at midnight. Claire is responsible for the annual city tradition of Times Square’s ball drop. When something doesn’t go according to plan, Claire must ask the electrician who had been fired to fix it. Laura is a cook and performer at the New Year’s Eve party. Jensen comes across her ex, who was also a singer. He tries to make her feel sorry, but she won’t accept the apology. After a near-death experience, Ingrid, a female worker at the record label, makes a decision to leave her job. She asks Paul, a young messenger to assist her in her goals. Stan is a dying man with terminal cancer and he only wants to witness the ball drop at the hospital. Griffin and Tess are also expecting. They want to be first to have a baby after the New Year. However, another couple is about to become a mother. Randy, a man who doesn’t like the holiday due to something that happened finds himself in an elevator together with Jensen’s backup singer when he performs in Times Square. Sam is the son of the record business owner and wants to return to his hometown to give a speech. But he gets into an accident, and because it is a holiday, the car cannot be repaired, so he rides along with others going to the city. He has another reason he must get home. –[email protected]
