My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Toula Portokalos, 30, is a Greek woman who works at her Chicago family’s Dancing Zorba’s. Gus, her father wants her to marry a Greek man. Toula wants more. Gus is convinced by her mother to allow Gus to take computer classes at college. He believes it was his idea. After completing the classes, she took over her aunt’s travel agency. This again made her father believe it was her idea. Ian Miller is a WASP and high school English teacher. She makes a fool out of herself at the restaurant, so she meets him. They go on secret dates for quite some time before their family discovers. Her father is furious that she has been dating non-Greek men. Toula must learn how to accept Ian.
