My All American

Freddie Steinmark (Finn Wittrock), is most passionate about football. His father works hard to train him, even though he’s considered too small for the normal athletic standard. Freddie is a fighter who brings a passion to the game and eventually gets noticed by legendary University of Texas coach Darrell Royal. (Aaron Eckhart). Freddie is awarded a scholarship to Austin and the chance to play with the Longhorns. Freddie, along with his former teammate Bobby Mitchell (Rett Terell) and James Street (Juston Street), is subject to a rigorous practice program. They are able to rise in the depth charts and their camaraderie on the field leads to solid playing, which gives the Longhorns an opportunity for improvement upon their poor record. Just as they are enjoying the successes of the season, Freddie is injured and faces the most difficult challenge of his life. MY ALL AMERICA is the story of Rudy (1993) and Hoosiers (1986), and it tells how Freddie became a hero.
