Life Is Beautiful

Guido, a young Jewish waiter in 1930s Italy starts a happy life with a beautiful woman from nearby cities. Guido, his wife and their son have been happily married until Italy’s occupation by the German forces. Guido imagines the Holocaust as a game, and the prize is a tank. This is to keep his family together and his son safe from the terrors of the Jewish Concentration Camp. –Anthony Hughes
