Isolation (2005)
Dan, a broken farmer rents out his farm to John of the Bovine Genetics Technologies. John is conducting research into genetic modification of cattle for increased fertilization. Orla, a veterinarian, is attacked by the calf as she helps the cow deliver. She feels something has gone wrong. The cow’s nightly delivery is interrupted by a narrow passage. Dan calls Jamie and Mary, a young couple that parked their trailer at his farm, to assist him with the delivery. The offspring bites Dan when it’s born. Orla later discovers it to be a genetic anomaly, and so she gives up the baby. She discovers that her freaky hybrids are pregnant during an animal’s autopsy. One of the hybrids escapes, attacking a cow and Jamie afterwards. John discovers the possibility of infecting humans when he arrives at the farm. He decides to quarantine it.
