Horsehead

Jessica’s nightmares have haunted her since childhood. To understand why her nightmares occur, she studied dream psychophysiology and began therapy with Sean (her boyfriend and mentor). Jessica returned to her family home reluctantly after the passing of her maternal grandmother, whom she didn’t know. Jessica doesn’t like her mother and does not look forward to visiting her again. Jessica arrives to find her grandmother, who is in the adjacent room during the wake. Jessica becomes suddenly ill after a difficult first night, made more so by the strange dream in which her grandmother died. The young lady, who is now ill from a fever, decides to take advantage of her lethargic condition to try lucid dreams. Sean suggests that Jessica inhale a small amount of ether to help her drift deeper into another world. Jessica begins wandering in the nightmarish realm inhabited by twisty versions of her family. Slowly, she improves her abilities as a lucid dreamer. She investigates to find the truth that haunts the family house.
