Here Comes the Boom
Scott Voss, Kevin James’s collegiate wrestler of the era, had some impressive moves. He teaches biology at Wilkinson High School, which is in trouble. When a disturbing announcement prompts Mr. Voss to take action, he finds himself becoming increasingly indifferent to his job as educator. All extracurricular activities at Wilkinson High are being eliminated immediately. The most inept teacher on staff suddenly has an opportunity to be involved. How is Mr. Voss, a high school teacher, going to get the $48,000 necessary to keep the music program afloat? After learning about the $10,000 MMA fighters make just for entering the ring, Mr. Voss decides that he will get in shape and take a beating so that his students don’t go hungry.
