Ghost in the Shell (2017)
The cybernetics technology created by Hanka Robotics Corporation, owned by Cutter, will allow human organs to be enhanced in the future. Dr. Ouelet was responsible for developing secret project 2571, a fully mechanical body that can be linked to the human brain. As a prototype, she uses the brain from a young girl who lost her parents to a cyberattack. The woman, now a Major, has been promoted to Section 9 under Chief Daisuke-Aramaki. She works with Togusa and Batou. To aid her brain’s integration with the machine, she needs to take a medication. She has lost all traces of her past life. Major discovers all about Hanka Robotics, and what she went through during Section 9’s hunt for Kuze. Kuze is her greatest enemy.
