G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Captain Duke Hauser (with his partner Ripcord) is stationed in Kazahkstan and ordered to transport special warheads made by MARS, an arms manufacturer under James McCullen. They are attacked by thieves led by Anastasia DeCobray (with whom Duke shares a history), but they are saved from their attackers by an elite, international special forces unit called “G.I.” Joe”. G.I. Joe is looking for the leader of G.I. As Ripcord and Duke train to become Joes, McCullen (or “Destro”) secretly works for Cobra. He is plotting to retake his metal-eating Nanomite warheads. With the help of Snake Eyes and Heavy Duty, Ripcord must show that they are Real American Heroes by stopping Cobra from using these warheads to overthrow the United States. –John Wiggins
