Fifty Shades of Grey
Anastasia Steele is an English literature major at Washington State University and agrees to be interviewed for Christian Grey’s college newspaper as a favor to Kate Kavanagh. Christian Grey begins to take an interest in Anastasia during the interview. He visits Anastasia’s hardware store shortly after the interview and suggests that they do a photoshoot to go along with the article Anastasia has written. Grey later invites Anastasia to a cafe, and also gives her the first editions of Tess of the d’Urbervilles and two Thomas Hardy novels. He also includes a quote about the dangers of relationship on a card. Grey eventually gives in to his pursuit and Anastasia and Grey begin dating. Anastasia discovers Grey’s past through their relationship and realizes that Grey isn’t right for her. She enjoys bonding sex with Grey but she knows she must take a bold step because Christian Grey can be dangerous. –MischaLeCroix
