Edge of Tomorrow
A hostile alien species has attacked Earth with an unstoppable assault that is unbeatable by any military units around the globe. Major William Cage (Cruise), an officer, is suddenly dropped in what amounts to a suicide mission. He has not seen combat since. Cage is killed in a matter of minutes and then finds himself trapped in a loop that forces him into brutal combat, dying and fighting again. Cage, along with Special Forces soldier Rita Vrataski, (Blunt), learns more about the enemy and becomes better at engaging them with every battle. Each encounter with the aliens brings Cage and Vrataski closer to victory. –Warner Bros. Pictures
