Eating Animals
Eating Animals, a feature-length documentary adaptation from Jonathan Safran Foer’s highly acclaimed novel of the same title is now available. Through intimate stories, the film shows what’s happened in our country over the last 40 years, as we moved from small, traditional farms to large industrial farming operations that can produce an almost endless supply of “cheap” meats, eggs and dairy. It all started with a simple question: Where does the meat come from? This quickly leads us into the maze of industrial animal farming and a discussion of what the real stakes are in eating animals and how to destroy agriculture.
