Winter was rescued by Sawyer Nelson, Dr. Clay Haskett and his dedicated team at Clearwater Marine Hospital. It’s been many years. They were able save Winter’s life thanks to Dr. Cameron McCarthy who created a prosthetic tail that would fit the dolphin. But their battle isn’t over. Winter has lost her surrogate mom, Panama the elderly dolphin, and is now without the one poolmate she’s ever known. Winter may be affected more by the death of Panama, her surrogate mother, because dolphins are social creatures and cannot be kept alone. Clearwater is running out of time to find Winter a partner before they lose their beloved Winter. –Warner Bros.
