Cruel Intentions
Kathryn Merteuil is seductive and manipulative, while Sebastian Valmont has the same goal: to get what they want. Kathryn bets with Sebastian that Sebastian would bed Annette (daughter of their headmaster) before summer breaks ends. Annette stated she wouldn’t sleep with anyone until marriage and love were achieved. Kathryn will win Sebastian’s 1959 Jaguar Roadster if he wins. Sebastian will win Kathryn if he wins. She is the only girl that he can remember ever having. Cecile is also in the play. She’s a young girl who her mother had recruited Kathryn for her to make her feel at home in her new school. Kathryn, Sebastian and Cecile plan to destroy Cecile’s reputation in revenge for Kat’s ex boyfriend, who abandoned her for Cecile.
