Countdown (2019)
A group of teenage friends downloaded the app Countdown, which predicts the time when the user will be dead. Courtney, a teenager, realizes she only has a few hours left and refuses to ride her drunken boyfriend Evan. When the clock in her phone reaches zero, she walks back home and is attacked by an evil creature. Evan then crashes his car and is killed. Quinn Harris, the nurse Quinn Harris’s assistant, arrives at Evan’s hospital. Evan confesses to being afraid of going into surgery because the app Countdown says he will be dead at the exact same time. Quinn discovers she only has three days to live after Quinn is told by the nurses and doctors at the hospital that Quinn can download the app. Quinn purchases a new phone and discovers that Evan has mysteriously died in an accident at hospital. She meets Matt Monroe in the car park of the shop and learns about Evan’s death. They team up to try to end the curse. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
