Anna Karenina (2012)

The aristocratic Anna Karenina, an Imperial Russian aristocrat, travels to Moscow in 1874 to save Prince Oblonsky’s marriage. Oblonsky had been involved with a housemaid and had fallen for her. Anna Karenina marries Count Alexei Karenin and has a child. Anna is attracted to Count Vronsky, a cavalry officer. Kitty is Vronsky’s younger sister, and she proposes to him. Kitty offers Anna a place at the ball if she can resolve the case of Anna’s brother. Vronsky and Anna Karenina dance at the ball, drawing the attention to the conservative society.
