A Question of Faith
Father and husband, Pastor David Newman set out to take control of his father’s church. He also neglected the promises that he had made to Eric when he was twelve years old. Kate Hernandez, a single parent who is spiritually driven and owns a restaurant in the area; Maria Hernandez, her teenage daughter is an independent teenager who wants to go to college. John Danielson is the owner of a struggling construction firm and views his daughter Michelle’s budding singing career as a way to get out of debt. Two twists in fate bring these two strangers together. First, Maria hits Eric while driving and texting in her car. This puts Maria behind bars and causes Eric and his family to be in a difficult situation. Michelle’s second collapsed while auditioning at a major record company. This discovery led to serious consequences for her father’s dreams. The faith of all three families is questioned and they question the higher power that directs their lives. Their worlds become interconnected as each member of the family deals with their problems. The result is a series of events that bring the families closer together. Are the three families willing to accept the pain, loss and uncertainty in their lives? Or will they discover the link that unites them through trust, redemption and goodwill.
