Blood Simple
Marty is an unfriendly Texas bartender and hires Loren Visser as a private detective to help him. Visser is capable of obtaining the evidence Marty needs, in this case photographic, that Marty’s wife Abby is having an affair with Ray one of his bartenders. Marty’s information allows Ray and Abby to make plans for the future, but Marty can be open with them about it. Marty decides that Visser will be hired again to murder Ray and Abby, as well as dispose of their bodies to ensure they are not found. This out-in the open affair and the contract breach lead to actions that are purely self-interested and an argument between Marty and Visser. Marty then decides to hire Visser again, this time to kill Abby and Ray and dispose of their bodies so they won’t be found. –Huggo
