1408

Mike Enslin, a skeptical and skeptic writer, writes books that evaluate supernatural phenomena found in hotels and graveyards. Often, Enslin debunks the mystery. He travels to New York from Los Angeles in order to write his new book. While there, Enslin spends one night in 1408, the Dolphin Hotel’s haunted room. It is not available to guests. He is refused by Mr. Gerald Olin, the manager. Olin offers him an upgrade and expensive booze. Finally, he recounts the deaths of over fifty people who had spent decades living in this cursed room. Mike threatened Mr. Olin and promised to sue hotel. Mike is allowed to enter the room. He discovers that room 1408, after they check in, may never be left the hotel alive. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
