V for Vendetta
Evey Hammond, a citizen in the United Kingdom’s distant future, is the average person living under the control of the fascist-tyrannical Norsefire Party. Although she is an employee at the British Television Network’s state-run British Television Network (BTVN), soon Evey Hammond will be the enemy number one along with a mysterious and bigger-than-life freedom fighter, known only as the letter V. Evey is told by V that Evey must remain hidden in the underground den for at least one-year. Although she initially resists the idea, they soon form a close bond. V’s mysterious past is slowly revealed to Eric Finch (the police inspector charged with his capture), and he soon begins questioning the government. –goddangwatir
