Unthinkable (2010)

An Islam convert sends the U.S. government an audiotape showing him inside three undescript storage rooms. Each room may have a nuclear bomb that will explode in under a week. Helen Brody is an FBI agent in L.A. who’s charged with finding the bombs. H, a CIA consultant, then interrogates the suspect, who has voluntarily given himself up to being caught. He seems to be aware of what interrogation might entail, even though his wife and kids have vanished. The suspect refuses to give up, even as H increases the pressure and uses torture against Brody’s will. Will H be able to do the impossible? Or will Brody allow it? Are there Constitutional principles worth the risk of losing your life? —
