Under Siege
It is nearing decommissioning the battleship Missouri. Casey Ryback serves as Captain Adam’s personal chef. Ryback has a rocky relationship with Commander Krill, the ship’s XO. But the Captain is there to help. After the President has visited the Missouri on his birthday, the Captain discovers that Commander Krill had cleared a helicopter to land on board the ship. He was unaware of this. The Captain allows Krill to tell him that the helicopter is a surprise and it was for his birthday. After another scuffle, Krill locks Ryback in the freezer. During the party the band reveals itself to be mercenaries led by William Stranix (CIA operative), who are in alliance with Krill to load all the nuclear warheads from the ship. All of their crew are locked up and they prepare to take out the warheads. Krill recalls Ryback and Stranix sent two men to help Ryback. The only problem is Ryback had taken care of them. After examining their bodies, Stranix discovers Ryback was more than just a cook. Krill is then sent to inspect Ryback. Krill learns that Ryback is a NAVYSEAL who was made a cook by an incident in Panama. Ryback is still causing trouble, and Stranix attempts to track him down. Ryback is also introduced to Jordan, his former playmate who was meant to entertain but was later forgotten. —
