Tomb Raider
Lara Croft is Alicia Vikander’s fiercely independent, teenage daughter of Lord Richard Croft (Dominic West), an eccentric adventurer. Lara Croft, a twenty-one year old woman, has no real purpose or focus. She works as a bicycle courier in trendy East London, making barely enough to pay rent and taking college classes, but rarely makes it to class. She is determined to make her own way and refuses to follow the footsteps of her father. Lara is advised to confront the truth and to move on after seven years of being without her father. However, Lara still doesn’t fully understand the motivation behind her quest to solve his mystery death puzzle. She leaves behind everything that she knew to find her father’s final destination, a mythical tomb located on an island off the coast of Japan. Her mission is not easy. It will prove extremely difficult to reach the island. Lara is suddenly faced with a daunting task. Armed only with her sharp mind and blind faith and an inherently stubborn spirit she must overcome all odds to reach the island.
