Thirteen

Tracy, a young woman at the edges of her adolescence is an intelligent straight-A student. However, she’s also a bit naive. She smokes and cuts to ease the emotional pain from her broken home and hatred for Brady, her mother. Tracy is drawn to Evie, the popular, beautiful, and most well-liked girl at school. Evie takes Tracy on a journey of drugs, sex and petty criminality (like taking money out of purses or from shops). Tracy’s transformation and identity change lead to a world of turmoil and emotional conflict. She is fueled not only by tensions with her mother, but also teachers and friends. –Miss Kittin
