The Return of Jafar
Aladdin is being groomed by the sultan to be his new vizier and future son-in law, as well as heir of Agrabah’s throne. This creates palatial turmoil. Jafar, a former vizier-usurper, was exiled to a genie lamps, but Abis Mal is able to find him and manipulate his wishes to gain his power. Jafar then returns to Agrabah to exact his revenge. Although his egotistic, formerly trusted parrot Iago is able to make a profit from the palace’s gratefulness, he finds himself in conflict with his old master. Genie returns and will face Jafar in a magical duel. Jafar’s dirty tricks get Aladdin, Jasmine and Jasmine locked up in the dungeons. –KGF Vissers
