The Pursuit of Happyness

This story is based on the true story of Christopher Gardner. Gardner invested heavily in the “bone density scanner” device. Gardner feels he is able to sell these devices. They don’t sell as well because they are only marginally more expensive than xrays at a higher price. Gardner struggles to survive and his wife leaves. He also loses his apartment. Gardner is forced to move to the streets to support his child. He sells bone density scanners and does an internship as a stockbroker. There are very few chances of him being promoted to a more lucrative position. To be eligible for pay, Gardner must outperform the rest of his competition by completing 6 months training and selling his products to keep him afloat. –John Wiggins, Alf Fonz
