The Mule (2018)
Clint Eastwood plays Earl Stone. He is a ninety-year-old man, single and broke. When he receives a job which only requires him to drive, it is a sign that he has found a new career. It’s easy enough. But, Earl doesn’t know that he has just been hired as a courier drug for the Mexican cartel. Earl gets a handler because he does so well that the cargo he has increases exponentially. Earl is not the only person keeping an eye on him. Hard-charging D.E.A. has noticed the mysterious drug mule. Agent Colin Bates (Bradley Cooper). Even though his financial problems are over, Earl begins to feel the weight of his past. It’s not clear if Earl will have the time or resources to correct those past errors before law enforcement and the cartel enforcers catch up with him.
