The Lost Daughter

Leda, a divorcee of middle age, is dedicated to her teaching English and her children. Leda expects loneliness and longing when her two daughters go to Canada with their dad. She is not embarrassed at the feeling, but instead feels lighter and more comfortable. In a tiny Greek coastal town, she decides to go on a vacation by the coast. After a few days, the situation changes dramatically. Leda meets a family that is unsettling and sometimes even dangerous. Leda becomes overwhelmed by the memories of her difficult and unconventional parenting choices and what they have meant for her and her family. This seemingly innocent tale about a woman finding herself is soon transformed into a story about a fierce confrontation with her past.
