The Little Witch
One tiny witch aged ‘only’ 47 years long dreams of joining Bloxberg’s coven. She sneaks in to its annual festival of dance but is arrested. The punishment she chooses is one that puts things in perspective. She may be allowed to take next year’s admission text if she knows all of the magic spells from the massive book. A hostile witch appointed by the chief witch to oversee her year observes her breaking the Friday ban on magic and making friends with two children of the disgraced human race. She has learned many spells and practiced them all, but she is still present for the test which proves to be very unpleasant for everyone. –KGF Vissers
