Nell Margaret Sweetzer, 17, is completely deranged when she tries to explain the possession of Abalam by a demon. She receives psychological and medical treatment. Frank Merle manages the Deveraux Transition House in New Orleans, which helps her start a new lifestyle. After finding a job at a hotel, she meets new friends and falls in love with her colleague, Chris. Nell soon discovers that her hauntings are not from the cult she belongs to… but by an evil force. Nell is told by Miss Cecile that she had been following Nell since she was admitted to the hospital. She also reveals that she is a member of the Order of The Right Hand and can help her protect from evil. This was in order to deflect the prophecy of the apocalypse.
