The Italian Job (2003)
John Bridger (Donald Sutherland), and Charlie Croker, (Mark Wahlberg), lead a group that aims to rob $35 million worth of gold bars from an Italian safe. Steve, an Edward Norton team member and driven by jealousy and greed, plans to steal the gold and kill the rest of the group after heist is completed. He believes the group is dead and returns home to Los Angeles with the money. Charlie, along with the victims of the betrayal, follows Steve to Los Angeles to seek revenge on the traitor. Charlie hires Stella, John Bridger’s child and a professional safe-cracking expert to help him get his revenge. This new team includes Stella, Lyle (Seth Green), Lyle’s hacking and explosives skills (Yasiin Bety) and Rob (Jason Statham), who plan and execute a daring heist through L.A.’s freeways and subways.
