The Davenport House, a famed brothel that was successful in the 1890s, became a haven for young prostitute Alice who committed suicide there. The ghost of Alice haunted the brothel after her death and it was abandoned. The old building has been transformed into a magnificent mansion more than 100 years later. Rumours persist that the ghost of Alice lives within it.
