The Great Escape

A true story tells the tale of an allied group of escape artist prisoners-of war who are put into an “escapeproof” camp. Their leader plans to exterminate several hundred prisoners at once. Comedy is the first half. The prisoners outwit their prisoners in digging the escape tunnel. High adventure is the second part of the movie, where they travel by planes, trains and boats in order to escape occupied Europe. –John Vogel
