The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Blondie (Clint Eastwood) is a professional gunslinger looking to make a little extra money. Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) is a hitman that always takes on a job and completes it, as long as he gets paid. Tuco (Eli Wallach) is an outlaw who tries to care for his hide. Blondie and Tuco share a partnership that makes money from Tuco’s bounty. However, Blondie unties this partnership which allows Tuco to pursue Blondie. Blondie, Tuco and another man come upon a carriage of dead bodies. They soon discover from Bill Carson (Antonio Casale) that Carson and some other men had buried their gold stash in a cemetery. Tuco finds the cemetery’s name, but Carson is dead, and Blondie discovers the name on the tomb. To find the golden, the pair must stay together. Angel Eyes, who had been searching for Bill Carson’s whereabouts discovers that Tuco (and Blondie) met Carson. He knows they have the gold; now he needs their help to find it. To get $200,000 worth of gold, The Good, Bad and Ugly will have to fight it out. –Jeremy Thomson
