The Faculty
Marybeth Louise Houtchinson, a newcomer to Harrington High School in Ohio, tries her best to make friends with Stokely Mitchell. Stan Rosado, the quarterback of the football team, quits and splits with Delilah Profitt (editer and cheerleader at the school). Zeke Tyler is retaking his senior year, and he sells drugs to other students. He has an argument about this with Elizabeth Burke, his teacher. Casey Connor, a bully, finds a strange creature on the football pitch. He brings it to Professor Edward Furlong who discovers that this unknown species lives in water and can reproduce. Delilah later brings Casey (the newspaper’s photographer) to the faculty to look around for evidence. They must hide in the closet until Coach Joe Willis arrives. Casey and Delilah witness Nurse Rosa Harper being attacked by the coach. They stumble into the closet with Mrs. Jessica Brummel’s corpse. Principal Valerie Drake discredits them and they call the police. The next day, Casey tells Stan, Delilah and Stokely that he thinks that aliens have taken over planet Earth through their high school. Marybeth and Zeke overhear this conversation and decide to join the group. They discover the aliens require water for survival and Zeke’s diuretic drug kills them.
