Tamara Drewe
Independent journalist Tamara Drewe is back in Dorset to buy the Winnard Farm, which belonged to her mother. With her husband Nicholas Hardiment, a manic and unfaithful writer who cheats on Beth occasionally with younger women, Beth runs a retreat for writers with Beth Hardiment. Tamara, Andy Cobb’s sweetheart, was the one who introduced Tamara to Andy. Tamara lost the Winnard Farm to Andy’s family. Tamara rekindles their love and falls in love with him. Tamara is unable to travel with Ben Sergeant’s Swipe Band drummer, and finds out that Fran, his girlfriend, has an affair with Steven Culley. He then breaks off from the group. Tamara and Ben start a relationship and Ben moves to Winnard. Jody Long, Ben’s teenage fan and Casey Shaw her best friend are happy to have Ben visit Ewedown. They travel to London for a few days to see the city after Ben proposes. The jealous Casey, who is trying to steal Tamara’s heart, breaks into Tamara’s home and sends an e-mail pretending she is Tamara.
