Stardust (2007)
A breach in the wall near an English village is what allows you to travel from this world into Stormhold. A boy in the 1800s becomes a man by attempting to cross the gap and find a fallen star. This is his way of showing that he loves the beauty of the village. The star is not a lump of rock; it’s Yvaine, a maiden. Tristan the youth isn’t the only one searching for her. Three witches led by Lamia want her heart in order to make them younger. And, the three sons of Stormhold’s dead king want her as she has a ruby which will grant one of them the title to the throne. Tristan’s mother is also there, a victim to a curse, and an air-crossing pirate of high heaven. Is Tristan going to find his true love? —
