Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
Marv lies unconscious in a road surrounded with corpses. He wakes up with amnesia. He remembers seeing four young playboys burn a homeless person alive, and that he defended him. Marv tracks them down and kills them. Johnny, a cocky gambler, hits the jackpot at the Kadie’s Saloon slot machines and asks Marcie, a waitress to accompany him for sex against Senator Roark. His arrogance results in him winning the game. Ava Lord, his ex-love and private detective Dwight McCarthy calls him to ask if he can meet them at Kadie’s Saloon. Ava asks for his forgiveness after he left her to marry Damian Lord. However her strong chauffeur Manute takes her home. Dwight wanders through Ava’s home, but Manute and her bodyguards find him and beat him. Ava seduces Dwight again when he returns to his home. She tells him that Damian, Manute and her are torturing her. Soon she will die. Manute again takes Ava along and attacks Dwight. Marv is invited to join him in rescuing Ava. Damian denied the accusations, but Dwight beats Manute to death. Marv tears Manute’s eye. Dwight soon discovers that Ava lured him and shot him. Marv saves Dwight, and takes him to Old Town. There Dwight meets Gail, his ex-lover. She helps him recover as Dwight plans to take revenge on Ava. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
